internship

During the 6th semester students are required to complete an integrative internship in a relevant industry either in Austria or abroad. The program management will provide organizational support and mentoring in co-operation with the relevant company. This concept of learning by doing constitutes an ideal stepping stone for a future career and, furthermore, is often useful as the basis for writing the 2nd bachelor’s thesis.

research & development

The strong link between the study program, business-related research and development projects constitutes an integral part of the program and creates an attractive opportunity for students to address concrete problems and solution concepts from science and business already during their education.

Following this context, we would like to give special reference to Telekom Austria AG, the leading Austrian provider in information and communication technologies and a pioneer in implementing state-of-the-art concepts, which actively supports and closely co-operates with the study program.

going global

The global perspective is reflected in the composition of the faculty, the students, the curriculum and the study related projects. Particular importance is placed on the excellent command of English. A selected number of students will have the opportunity to take part in a semester-abroad program with a partner university and / or to complete their internship with a foreign company.
