As an entrepreneurial Higher Education Institution MCI supports business start-ups and focuses on safeguarding and realizing research results.

MCI students, graduates, professors, members of the teaching staff and research assistants have the opportunity to enlist assistance of the Center for Academic Spin-offs Tirol (CAST).

Cast is supported by the Austrian government and is a cooperative initiative of the University of Innsbruck, the Tyrolean Future Foundation and Management Center Innsbruck (MCI).

CAST’s main task is to stimulate technology-oriented business start-ups, providing intensive consultancy, coaching and backing along the way.
