FIBAA_EHMA.jpgThe Master’s program ’International Health Care Management‘ prepares its students for the requirements of a future-oriented field of work where an understanding of the links between health care organizations – charitable and profit-oriented, public and private, national and international – is essential. The medium-term outlook for graduates of the two-year Master’s program is administrative and upperlevel management positions in the health care sector and related fields.

Due to the changing health care environment, the demand for qualified persons in this sector is constantly rising. Across the European Union, health systems and health policies are becoming more interconnected than ever before, with more movement of patients and professionals, higher public expectations, and wider diffusion of new medical technologies and techniques. This increased interconnectedness raises many health policy issues, including quality and access in cross-border care – information requirements for patients, health professionals and policy-makers – the scope for cooperation in health matters – and how to reconcile national policies with European obligations in general.
