Major Environmental Technologies Print E-mail
In view of the growing environmental problems of waste materials, water pollution and noxious exhaust gases, and the resulting impacts on our quality of life, environmental engineering is becoming an increasingly important subject; it is now a key technology for the future and – in economic terms – a significant growth industry of international dimensions.

Graduates with a specialization in Environmental Technologies may be called upon to handle a wide variety of environmental engineering processes, from air and water pollution control to recycling and alternative energy carriers. They are capable of analyzing environmental pollutants and employing the results to develop technical solutions to reduce the impacts on soil, air and water. They may also be responsible for monitoring plants and ensuring compliance with the relevant laws.
