Major Bioresource Technologies Print E-mail
Bioresource technology is an interdisciplinary science that brings together process engineering, chemistry and the exciting potential of renewable resources. It covers the production, preparation and processing of suitable regenerative raw materials and all the intermediate stages leading up to the finished product. The focus is on the wide range of bioresources as energy carriers on the one hand and raw materials for the chemical industry on the other.

Bioresource engineers work as a link between management, engineers and the skilled workers involved. They understand the relationships between renewable raw materials and the relevant value chains, from sourcing the raw materials to the final products, and are involved in the planning, optimization and monitoring of the production processes and plant.
