On completion of the program, students are awarded the degree of a Master of Science in Engineering (MSc) and receive the relevant certification (Final Certificate, Diploma, international Diploma Supplement, etc.). The Master of Science in Engineering is a recognized qualification for enrollment in a relevant Doctoral Study Program and official recognition as a certified civil engineer. According to Austrian law (BGBl.II Nr. 241/2009), graduates of the Master program ‘Engineering, Environmental & Biotechnology’ are entitled to apply for admission to a doctorate program in Technical Sciences.
