One of the goals of the program is to provide graduates with in-depth knowledge in the fields of engineering and environmental and biotechnology so as to equip them for management and specialist positions in the fields listed below.

The following program components are designed to ensure that this goal is achieved:

  • In-depth knowledge and problem-solving skills in specific fields of process engineering
  • Specialization in one of two specializations: Biotechnology and Environmental Technology
  • Full competence in the use of scientific methods of working
  • Problem- and project-based learning for the application of theoretical and analytical skills to complex problems
  • Ability to approach new and unfamiliar subjects quickly and systematically and to work on an interdisciplinary basis
  • Abstract analytical and networked thinking as the basis for intellectual and social competence
