The availability of research facilities and a place for quiet reflection in combination with efficient access to the literature worldwide is fundamental to a modern university infrastructure. In addition to its own library services, the MCI has signed agreements with the libraries of Innsbruck University and the Social & Economic Sciences Faculty that provide the MCI’s teachers, students and researchers with full access to the university library facilities.

Library facilities at the MCI

  • Offering:
    Students can take advantage of study environments with a full range of literature, journals, magazines and newspapers at MCI I, II, III and IV. The facilities include PC workstations, printers, copiers and scanners.
  • On-line:
    The academic character of the study programs is underscored by the availability of scientific databases via freely accessible PCs.

University and Social & Economic Sciences Faculty libraries

  • Offering:
    Students have access to about 3.5 million books, 7,500 subscribed journals and 20,000 electronic journals and magazines.
  • Research:
    Users are offered professional advice and support when researching the literature.
  • Opening hours & facilities:
    Attractive and comfortable reading rooms and generous opening hours (Mon-Fri 9 a.m. – 10 p.m., Sat 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) are a further quality component of academic study at the MCI.
