Planning Success, Shaping Processes, Achieving Results No company can afford to operate ineffectively. Controlling produces transparency in terms of results and strategies, reliability in the achievement of objectives, and the management infrastructure needed to deliver the data and information required for targeted action. Today’s wide-ranging debate on the diverse functions of a controller underscores the modern profile of the position – away from the conventional numbers cruncher to an internal consultant who supports management and/or performs management tasks independently and combines technical, methodological and social competence in one and the same person. This executive certificate course, which has been developed in close collaboration with the Controlling Department of the Institute of Organization and Learning at Innsbruck University, is a quality-oriented continuous education program designed to provide executives, junior executives and other decision-makers – especially in SMEs – with practical guidance in handling their professional challenges. Graduates of this MCI executive certificate course can apply for credits for the international master study programs General Management Executive MBA and Master of Science in Management MSc, which are approved by degree of the Austrian Ministry of Science.
