The full-time Master program in Social Work, Social Policy & Management takes place over 4 semesters of 15 weeks, each comprising around 69 hours of teaching. This totals altogether 1,035 hours of learning. The term times are September / October – February and from March – June / July. The studies always begin in the winter semester. The language of instruction is generally German; lectures and examinations can also be undertaken in English. It is compulsory to attend all lectures. Students have the possibility in the 3rd semester to attend lectures at one of MCI’s partner universities, thereby offsetting attendance at MCI lectures. The Master thesis is going to be conducted in the 4th semester.
