European biotechnologists meet at the MCI

The prestigious Summer School on Advanced Biotechnology is to be hosted by the Entrepreneurial School® for the first time on 2-5 September

The international Summer School on Advanced Biotechnology was founded eight years ago by Biotechnet, a Swiss high-level network of universities and research institutions and their industrial partners, and Palermo University’s BIRS (Biotecnologie per l’Industria e per Ricerca Scientifica) to offer junior researchers in all fields of biotechnology a professional platform for networking and the exchange of knowledge and experience.

On 2-5 September, this year’s summer school is being hosted for the first time by MCI Management Center Innsbruck, whose Biotechnology Department is commands growing international respect. Attendees can look forward to an outstanding program with international experts speaking on various aspects of biotechnology, including drug screening, data mining, antibiotics, biomaterials, cell culture technology and diagnostics.
