The City

Fortaleza is the state capital of Ceará in Northeastern Brazil. With a population close to 2.55 million it is the 5th largest city in Brasil. To the north of the city lies the Atlantic Ocean. The city was one of the host cities of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The University

Universidade de Fortaleza (UNIFOR) is a private university. It offers courses on bachelor and masters level. For MCI students it offers a number of courses taught in English; students who speak Portugues can choose from a wider variety of courses.
