The City

Lyon is the third-largest city and is located in the country's east-central part.
The city is known for its cuisine and gastronomy, and historical and architectural landmarks; part of it is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lyon was historically an important area for the production and weaving of silk and it played a significant role in the history of cinema.
Nowadays Lyon is a major centre for banking, as well as for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.

The University

Ocellia is a school for social and health studies created through a venture of ESSSE and IFTS Institut de Formation en Travail Social. It has one campus in Lyon, one in Valence and one in Grenoble.
