  • 21st Century health/social managers and leaders need a deep understanding on how health and wellbeing are determined in our fast changing countries both nationally and locally. The course aims to give students: SD knowledge and related Management Issues, conceptual frameworks and analytical tools instrumental to develop skills and know-how that will help students in their future professional careers.

    - Main concepts of economic, social, and cultural capital
    - Social production, interpretation, and social context of language and discourse
    - The interplay of waiting times with social and cultural contexts of patients

    Please be aware that this course requires high level of proficiency in English language. All local students have passed an English language test with at least 90 TOEFL points (internet based) or comparable tests.

  • The course comprises an interactive mix of lectures, discussions and individual and group work.
