Born and grew up in Shanghai, PR China, Wei completed her bachelor's degree in Germanistik in China on her parents' recommendation and studied Business Administration with Honors and PhD in Economics at her own request in Germany. Wei has worked for a Bavarian "hidden champion" for 14 years and gained extensive insights into INTERNATIONALISATION and led projects in Marketing and Sales, Strategy and R&D. Since September 2020, Wei has become a PROFESSOR at MCI | DIE UNTERNEHMERISCHE HOCHSCHULE® in Innsbruck, Austria ... Wei always has fun deciphering new developments and loves working for intercultural understanding. The experience on different continents showed her how NETWORKED our economy is and how important TRUST is for the international business and a peaceful and prosperous world. In May 2021, Wei initiated and helped to establish the CHINA CENTER at MCI - A BRIDGE between Europe and China for students, academia, industries and society.
