Rocco Bräuniger began his career at Amazon in January 2006, when Amazon employed just 400 people in Germany outside of logistics. He has held a variety of positions at Amazon. He has worked in supply chain management, managed key product categories such as Outdoor, Sports, and Home & Garden, supported the opening of Amazon in India. As Country Manager, he was also in charge of Amazon’s new store in Australia for a period of two and a half years starting in 2017. Bräuniger was also Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Amazon’s fulfilment center in Leipzig and worked in different areas of logistics during short internships to get a first-hand look at the variety of tasks and the working environment. Most recently, Bräuniger was responsible for the European consumer goods business. He studied business administration in Bayreuth, Germany, and earned a Master of Business Administration in Boston, United States. Before joining Amazon, Bräuniger worked for a management consulting firm.
