Frank Sieren is considered “one of Germany's leading China specialists” (Die ZEIT). He is a columnist for Handelsblatt and has written several bestsellers on China (“China Code,” “China Shock,” (Fear of China”). 
No other German journalist has written more books about China. Sieren is also the author of numerous TV documentaries for ARD and ZDF. Sieren has been living in Beijing for a quarter of a century.
Sieren is co-founder and moderator of the Bosch Foundation's Media Forum China, the most high-profile annual event for German and Chinese journalists since 2010. In 2017, the forum was expanded to include the US as a trilateral meeting.
Frank Sieren has interviewed leading Chinese politicians and business leaders. No Western business journalist has lived in China longer than he has.
