Ambassador Arthur Graham Fisher was confirmed and sworn as the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Austria in October 2025.

He is a native of North Carolina, where he led a successful real estate business and was one of the top real estate brokers in the state while also developing a number of residential communities.
A leader in business from an early age, at 18 he was named Mr. Future Business Leader of North Carolina and one of the top ten Future Business Leaders in America.

He later served as President of the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs at the College of Charleston, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Corporate Communications
Passionate about civic and community service, Ambassador Fisher previously served on the Board of Transylvania Vocational Services, an organization dedicated to helping handicapped individuals find meaningful employment, and on the local and North Carolina Boards of The Boys and Girls Club.

He has also served on and with numerous boards, including Brevard College, The Pisgah Health Foundation, United Community Bank, and the North Carolina Travel and Tourism Board. He has worked closely with The Andrea Bocelli Foundation, The Lee Greenwood Patriot Awards for Helping a Hero, The Brevard College Fine Arts Gala, and many others. Ambassador Fisher was Knighted as a member of the Dynastic Order of the Royal House of Bourbon.
