The 12th President of the European Commission Scholarship on the Future of Europe

This scholarship under the patronage of Excellency Jean-Claude Juncker allows students engaged in the ideas, principles, values and future of the European Union as well as the economic, technological and social
development of the European continent, to pursue their studies at a prestigious European university.

This scholarship enables you to study at a reduced tuition fee of EUR 1,500.- per year. It is applicable for the first year of the respective bachelor's or master's program and may be extended to the subsequent years of your studies upon successful completion and positive evaluation of your first academic year.

The outstanding tuition fee as well as the scholarship terms and conditions for the Executive master's program may vary.

Application Requirements for Scholarship

  • Confirmation of your application to the MCI study program

  • A motivation letter describing the applicant’s engagement in European issues and activities, their future goals and explaining how their studies at the MCI will help them achieve these aims. The motivation letter should also explain how applicants would benefit from the awarded scholarship (financial aspects).

  • CV

  • Copy of degree certificate(s)

  • Language proficiency

  • Passport copy

Selection Criteria

  • Current (or past) commitment to European ideas and issues (Nature, extent and impact of engagement)
  • Future commitment to European ideas and issues
  • Feasibility of the defined goals

  • Congruence between your European focus and selected MCI study program

  • Potential impact of your goals
