The City

Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland being a significant center of research and development, business process outsourcing, and information technology outsourcing. Frontex, the European Union agency for external border security, and ODIHR, one of the principal institutions of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, have their headquarters in Warsaw. As of 2022, Warsaw has one of the highest number of skyscrapers in Europe while Varso Place is the tallest building in the European Union.
The city is home to many renowned universities and also known as "phoenix city", because its center was completely destroyed during and rebuilt after world war two. The Old Town representing examples of nearly every European architectural style and historical period was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1980.

The University

Kozminski University is a private, non profit business school in Warsaw. It was established in 1993 and named after Leon Kozminski, a Polish professor of economics and entrepreneurship, and also the father of Andrzej Kozminski, who is the founder and the first rector of the school.

Kozminski University, founded in 1993, is a private institution of higher education with full academic rights. The University has obtained Polish and international accreditations, as well as excellent results in global and national educational rankings for high quality of our programs and services.
Since 2009, Kozminski University is classified in the educational rankings provided by the ‘Financial Times' - Business School Rankings, which include the best universities from around the world.
Moreover, for the past 19 consecutive years, KU holds first place throughout private universities in educational rankings in Poland.
Our University holds three international accreditations: EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB among around 90 business schools from all over the world.
Kozminski University also received a special distinction from the National Accreditation Committee in regards to management, finance and accounting, administration and law programs.
As of 2007, it is the only private business school in Poland with full doctorate and habilitation granting rights in management. It is also entitled by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education to grant PhD titles in law and economy.

The school runs programs in Polish and in English at bachelor, master, postgraduate, MBA and doctorate levels in management, finance, law, European studies, sociology, psychology in management and administration.

The school's campus is located in the north-eastern district of Warsaw, Praga Północ.
