As part of the Distinguished Lecture Series at the Management Center Innsbruck, the Entrepreneurial School© welcomed the general director of the country's leading electricity company and one of Europe's largest hydropower producers – the VERBUND AG.

Before joining the VERBUND AG, Wolfgang Anzengruber held various management positions in well-known companies. For example, he was Managing Director of SYSTEC Industrieautomation GmbH, Managing Director of ABB Austria, Member of the Executive Board of Salzburger Stadtwerke AG and Managing Director of Palfinger AG. Wolfgang Anzengruber was awarded with the Vienna Stock Exchange Prize in 2007 for his successful work at Palfinger.
As a member of the Managing Board of Verbund AG, he finds it great to be able to work on the most important issues facing mankind - e.g. the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the achievement of climate targets.
He spoke about the future of energy during his visit and lecture at the MCI.
