Within the framework of the Distinguished Lecture Series of MCI Alumni & Friends, the Entrepreneurial School® had the honor to welcome Klaus Kumpfmüller, Member of the Managing Board of the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).

Klaus Kumpfmüller has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) since 2013. Together with Helmut Ettl, Klaus Kumpfmüller heads the overall operations of the FMA and conducts business in accordance with the laws and the rules of procedure.

The Austrian Financial Market Authority is the independent and independent supervisory authority for the Austrian financial market. It is responsible for the supervision of credit institutions, payment institutions, insurance companies, pension funds, occupational pension funds, investment funds, rating agencies, stock exchanges and capital market prospectuses.

Prior to his appointment to the Executive Board of the FMA, Mr. Kumpfmüller worked for Raiffeisenbank Oberösterreich, Hypo Landesbank Oberösterreich and the Austrian Federal Financing Agency.
