OSRAM is a globally active company with a broad product portfolio. Almost 100 years ago, OSRAM made our cities a better place to live with the first electric light. Also with the first headlights and dipped beam lights, OSRAM ensured greater safety in road traffic at an early stage. Today, digitization opens up countless new possibilities for a company like OSRAM that go far beyond the simple "on" and "off" of light.

OSRAM's product portfolio covers a wide variety of applications, from virtual reality to autonomous driving or mobile phones to networked intelligent lighting solutions in buildings.

Olaf Berlien, CEO of OSRAM AG since 2015, reported on how a lighting group reacts to the changing times and becomes a high-tech company.

The event was organised jointly with the Industrial Federation of Tyrol.
