Together with the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tyrol, the German Friends of the Universities in Innsbruck invited to a festive reception in the seat of the Tyrolean government.

After words of welcome by Honorary Consul Hon.-Prof. Dr. Dietmar Czernich and DFK Chairman Prof. Dr. Andreas Altmann, Tyrolean Governor Anton Mattle explained the importance of the relations between the two countries.

Ambassador H.E. Michael Klor-Berchtold in the following short speech especially addressed the German-Austrian partnership even in challenging times.

The Landhaus hall, which was filled to capacity, also enjoyed the musical accompaniment of a choir from the Chorverband Tirol.

A cozy get-together with Bavarian and Tyrolean delicacies successfully rounded off the event.
