MCI Alumni Weekend 2024

This year, the MCI once again invited its graduates and especially the anniversary cohorts to the end of the academic year.

Two days before the European elections, the MCI welcomed Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for Budget & Administration, to Innsbruck as part of the Distinguished Guest Lecture Series. Under the general theme of "Perspectives on Europe", the event provided an excellent platform for questions, discussions, and exchange of views on Europe, democracy, and the future of Austria in the EU. After Johannes Hahn's introductory lecture, a lively discussion with the audience ensured a vivid dialog.

Rector Andreas Altmann held a reception to provide insights into the current status, prospects and news at the MCI.

Afterwards, graduates met with the program team to rekindle old friendships and make new contacts.

In addition to exciting guest lectures, inspiring talks and workshops, there was also plenty of opportunity for interactive dialog.

The evening was dedicated to socializing & networking: At the MCI Summer Lounge, guests enjoyed the end of the academic year with snacks, fine wines, lounge music and an event casino.

A wonderful weekend under the motto "meet & celebrate with motivated people" thus came to an end.
