“Jurassic World Rebirth” with Co-Producer Winston Azzopardi

Date 2026-06-09

As part of the “30 Years MCI” anniversary week, MCI The Entrepreneurial University® welcomed a high-profile representative of the international film industry: Winston Azzopardi, CEO of Latina Pictures and producer of numerous successful Hollywood productions, presented his latest film, “Jurassic World Rebirth,” at the Metropol Kino in Innsbruck and subsequently discussed the film’s production as well as current industry trends with students, alumni, and guests. Azzopardi had previously visited MCI in 2024 to present “Gladiator 2.”

Following the screening of “Jurassic World Rebirth,” Winston Azzopardi took time for an in-depth Q&A session and gave guests exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into one of last year’s biggest film productions. Using behind-the-scenes footage, he explained the complex processes involved in a major international production—from the initial planning phase and the selection of filming locations to the final execution on screen.

His remarks on the organizational and creative challenges of modern blockbuster productions drew particular interest. Visitors were given a rare glimpse into production workflows, decision-making processes, and the logistical scope of a global film project.

The Q&A session that followed gave students, alumni, and guests the opportunity to engage directly with the experienced producer. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, from career paths in the international film industry to current developments in visual effects, as well as the unique challenges involved in producing a globally renowned film franchise like “Jurassic World.”
