When I look back at my time at MCI...

I recall formative statements from my professors, and they bring a smile to my face. It was a very educational period and, alongside my job and a young child, also an extremely demanding time that required everything from me. But because of this, I now know how resilient I am and that I can achieve my goals even under great pressure.

How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?

My studies prepared me for my current role in many ways. Strategic thinking and process-oriented action in the implementation of measures are core competencies, alongside professional expertise as a basic requirement. Successful leadership also means never losing sight of the goal and knowing when to slow down to take everyone along, and when it is time to challenge the team again. Continuous self-reflection, lifelong learning, believing in yourself and in your goals, and remaining open to change and course corrections – all of this I learned during my years at MCI.

What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?

Go for it! Your personal and professional path will change as you move forward anyway. With a degree from MCI, you will have the right tools and sufficient options to actively navigate and shape change.

What is your motto?

I love the Pareto principle – because a well-executed idea is better than one that is perfectly thought through.
