Completed study program: Bachelor Business Administration (Online)
Magnus Walch
When I look back at my time at MCI...
I don't just think about lectures, lecture notes, and exams, but above all about the many valuable contacts I was able to make during these three years. Although most of the teaching took place in the form of online sessions, the personal exchange with my colleagues during the on-campus days enriched my studies enormously. Professional discussions turned into networking relationships, and some group work projects led to genuine friendships that still exist today.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
Of course, the business administration fundamentals provided me with the necessary technical tools. But if I'm honest, it was primarily the soft skills that were much more decisive and that I was able to train during my studies: setting priorities, dealing with time pressure, working in a team, communicating clearly, and always keeping track of the big picture—all skills that are put to the test every day in professional life and that I wouldn't want to be without today.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
Go for it! With its blended learning concept, the online Business Administration program at MCI offered me the perfect balance between flexibility and quality. The mix of webinars and face-to-face sessions was ideal for me – no juggling between work and study, but a well-timed interplay. In addition, the close link between practice and theory is a top priority at MCI, which was a decisive factor for me when choosing where to study.
What is your motto?
Even though I don't always manage to do it myself, I keep reminding myself: Live now!
