When I look back at my time at MCI...
I mainly think of an exceptionally supportive environment. The organization and especially the lecturers were outstanding throughout my almost five years at MCI. I felt heard, supported, and encouraged at every moment – with a clear sense of: we succeed together. The motto “Mentoring the motivated” was never just a slogan to me, but an attitude I truly experienced throughout my studies.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
Both the bachelor’s program in Digital Business & Software Engineering and the master’s program in Digital Business & Tech Law prepared me very specifically for my current role, both professionally and personally. I gained not only deep IT and business expertise, but also a strong understanding of technical and legal interfaces. Particularly valuable was the combination of cutting-edge course content, excellent lecturers, and the strong practical orientation of many classes. In addition, I was able to build a network over the years that is invaluable to me today.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
I would say: if you are looking for a program that challenges you academically, supports you on a personal level, and truly opens doors, then MCI is the right place for you. A professor said something during his opening speech on the first day that has stayed with me: when facing a decision and unsure which path to take, always choose the one that leaves you with more options. This perfectly describes MCI for me. The opportunities that arise after graduating are diverse, tangible, and truly convincing.
What is your motto?
“If you cannot decide, choose the path that offers you more options afterwards.”
