When I look back at my time at MCI...
It was a hard time. I lived at Lake Zurich, my company HQ was in Munich and I spent the weekends in Innsbruck at MCI. Therefore, I partly lived out of suitcases. But it was definitely worth it. I am very thankful for the valuable experiences and new knowledge I was able to gain during my studies. Innsbruck is a wonderful city to study at. There, you can practically ski straight from the mountains to the lecture. The university is organized in a very good way and the facilities are very modern. The supervision was always very good and my master thesis was supervised by the renowned Prof. Dr. Kurt Matzler.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
I have been an entrepreneur since I was 16 years old. And after my studies at the MCI, I can confirm 100% that the claim of "The Entrepreneurial University" is really lived in all aspects. The studies and the established alumni network have made an important contribution to my entrepreneurial success and have also positively developed my leadership skills.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
The MCI is the ideal university if you are not looking for a giant university that runs very anonymously. In addition, the MCI plays in the top league of universities through their accreditation like the AACSB.
What is your motto?
When writing the story of your life, don´t let anyone else hold the pen.
