Study program: Management, Communication & IT (Master)

When I look back at my time at MCI...

... I like to remember how many projects in IT and management theory I was able to design together with outstanding colleagues. These projects and their outcomes have prepared me for many professional challenges.
The education of MCiT creates a balance between science and business, which not only shows students new scientific findings but also offers them the opportunity to apply these to real business projects in cooperation with local companies.
MCiT offers a comprehensive education in various areas of IT and offers a jump-start for various fields of application in the economy. In addition, MCiT is known as a university program with outstanding lecturers from business and science.

How did your studies prepare you for your current job?

Training in core areas of management and IT has prepared me for a solid foundation that I can use as a starting point to deepening my knowledge in specific subject areas. At an early stage, the structure and content of the courses gave me the opportunity to learn about new topics independently. I now use this ability every day in my daily work in research for new technologies in the software sector. Equally valuable were the interdisciplinary teams and the associated project work in combination with business-oriented presentations, which made it easier for me to enter the professional world.
