The 8th UN Secretary General Scholarship on SDGs

Supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a joint mission of the 8th UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®.

This scholarship under the patronage of Excellency Ban Ki-moon allows students engaged in the SDGs to study and develop at the prestigious MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®. Further, it enables you to study at a reduced tuition fee of EUR 1,500.- per year.

The scholarship is applicable for the first year of the respective bachelor's or master's program and may be extended to the subsequent year of your studies upon positive evaluation and successful completion of your first academic year.

The outstanding tuition fee as well as the scholarship terms and conditions for the Executive master's program may vary. 

Application Requirements for Scholarship

  • Confirmation of your application to the MCI study program

  • A motivation letter describing the applicant’s engagement in SDG activities, their future goals and explaining how their studies at the MCI will help them achieve these aims. The motivation letter should also explain how applicants would benefit from the awarded scholarship (financial aspects).

  • CV

  • Copy of degree certificate(s)

  • Language proficiency

  • Passport copy

Selection Criteria

  • Current (or past) commitment to the SDGs (Nature, extent and impact of engagement)
  • Future commitment to the SDGs
  • Feasibility of the defined goals
  • Congruence between your SDG focus and selected MCI study program
  • Potential impact of your goals
