MCI-Lektor Mike Peters in den Vorstand der TTRA Europe gewählt

Internationale Anerkennung für Tourismusforschung am MCI

Die Tourismusforschung am MCI ist international präsent –  dies zeigt nun auch die Wahl von Prof. Dr. Mike Peters in den Vorstand der „Travel and Tourism Association Europe“ (TTRA). Das European Chapter der TTRA ist eine Tochter der TTRA, die von insgesamt ca. 800 Mitgliedern aus Praxis und Forschung weltweit getragen wird. Die TTRA organisiert jährlich eine Reihe von internationalen Konferenzen und gibt zudem das renommierte Top-Journal „Journal of Travel Research“ heraus. Mike Peters ist wissenschaftlicher Beirat im Vorstand und daher auch mitverantwortlich für die Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses. „Das ist eine tolle Auszeichnung für Mike Peters und gleichermaßen eine schöne Anerkennung für das MCI Tourismus auf internationaler Ebene“, so Hubert Siller, Leiter des MCI Tourismus.
