Course contents
  • - Organic-chemical synthesis of a liquid, purification via distillation and assessment of the yield
    - Organic-chemical synthesis of a solid, purification via recrystallization and assessment of yield
    - Determination of kinetic parameters (e.g. alkaline hydrolysis of ethyl acetate in discontinuous mode
    - Determination of the Arrhenius parameters (pre-exponential and activation energy) via analysis of the concentration profiles concerning the considered reaction
    - Determination of the residence time distribution in different reactors
    - Analysis of the degree of hydrolysis in various continuously operated reactors (stirred tank, series of stirred tanks and flow tube)
