Course contents
- Preparation of fermentation processes: production of media
- Preparation of fermenters: calibration of measurement devices, filling, sterilisation, inoculation
- Realisation of fermentation processes: operation (monoseptic), sterile sampling, collection of measurement data, analysis, determination of kLa value;
- Evaluation: determination of reaction kinetics and the corresponding parameters, oxygen uptake rate (OUR) and oxygen transfer rate (OTR)
