  • Many countries emphasize developing models for integrated care and ex-periment with disease management programs. A common feature of these models is better coordination of care while at the same time improving quality and saving healthcare costs. The aim of this course is to offer an overview of different health systems, their organization and financing and their experience with different types of integrated care models. In the glob-al context of epidemiological and demographic change as well as continued cost pressure, this course will assess the performance of international health systems in terms of outcomes such as health status, patient satis-faction as well as cost-effectiveness.

    Please be aware that this course requires high level of proficiency in English language. All local students have passed an English language test with at least 90 TOEFL points (internet based) or comparable tests.
