Course contents
  • - Preparation of fementations: Production of media
    - Preparation of fermenters: Calibration of measuring equipment, filling, sterilisation, inoculation
    - Execution of fermetations: Operation (monoseptic), sterile sampling, data logging, analysis, establishment of kLa value
    - Evaluation: Establishment of chemical reaction kinetics and relevant parameters, oxygen uptake rate (OUR) and oxygen transfer rate (OTR)
    - Establishment of enzymatic activity by photometrical testing
