  • Due to various crisis in the different parts of the world human trafficking has become a flourishing business at the cost of human rights. Defenseless people are being exploited and trafficked to Europe. This symposium focuses on the causes and consequences of human trafficking from local, regional and global perspectives, and examines the reactions of governmental and non-governmental organizations to this modern day slavery. It explores the subject matter from legal and policy points of view and places a special focus on Italian, Austrian and southern German situations as regards with human trafficking.
