Course contents
  • Students of the course learn about the state of the art of all current R&D activities of engineering degree programs offered at MCI. The course provides students with an introduction to and specialization in the scientific methods used in those activities. The students are encouraged to challenge the most recent research and development results as well as applied methods. In the process, alternate approaches are examined.
    In the center of attention is the presentation of current R&D foci of the present degree program and other relevant technical disciplines.
    Guest lecturers from R&D departments of universities or the industry are invited to talk about selected aspects of research and development. The course may involve an excursion to a relevant conference, if such is available.
