Project Planning for Plants

Course contents
Project form:
- Based on practical examples, the most important material and energy balances are to be drawn up and evaluated according to economic aspects. In addition, the respective flow charts and P&I diagrams are to be created.
- As part of project-based learning, students are introduced to the independent development of proposed solutions for technical tasks. In doing so, they should use knowledge from various subjects in an integrative manner in order to work out complex, industry- or research-related topics, also taking economic aspects into account.
- A certain proportion of the workload can be carried by the students outside of attendance times. The integration of different forms of teaching also offers scope for flexibility.

Project content:
- Projects from the fields of environmental engineering (e.g. design of air or water purification systems) and energy technology (e.g. energy generation and consumption optimization) are possible.
