Modern communication management starts with the development of an integrated communication strategy that understands the organization's stakeholders (e.g., employees, consumers, the public) as a holistic reference of communication. This understanding sets the framework for the derivation of targeted communication measures, taking into account target group content and channels. There is a growing trend for organizations to evolve from advertisers to content producers to in order catch the attention of consumers and other stakeholders. Ultimately, the measurement of success decides whether the communication goals achieved have met the previously set communication goals.

In 5 content modules, an excellent knowledge of communication management is imparted. The development of an integrated communication strategy, communication trends in the digital world, the planning of communication measures, the implementation of communication measures as well as budgeting and performance measurement are taught.
