The Certificate in Tourism, Destination & Leadership program is a part-time course of study based on a didactic concept tailored to the needs of professional decision makers.
The content of the course is divided into six modules teaching advanced knowledge of modern tourism and destination management. The topics covered include strategic aspects of tourism management such as questions of leadership, family-owned businesses, finance and accounting, service design thinking, marketing and PR, as well as personnel management. A particular focus is placed on destination management.
The program includes 16 on-campus sessions held on Fridays and Saturdays. Please also plan extra time for five projects to be completed as part of selected modules and your final paper.
