With the Certificate in General Management program, MCI presents an internationally oriented training course of the highest quality. It provides executives and up and coming ones from business, administration, culture, and politics with a practical management guide enabling them to proactively meet the challenges of their profession.

Upon completion of the Certificate in General Management program you will have

Participants are given plenty of opportunity to reflect on and come to understand their current and future management responsibilities from a holistic point of view.

The part-time course is designed for executives, up and coming executives, and future decision makers looking to prepare for higher management responsibilities or to improve their qualification for the growing demands of their current position. It is particularly appropriate for graduates of non-business studies wishing to complement their qualification with business training and management-related competencies. The Certificate in General Management program is a part-time course of study based on a didactic concept tailored to the needs of professional decision makers.

The content of the course is divided into 12 modules providing participants with an excellent foundation to enter any field of management. The course discusses a broad spectrum of aspects including strategic management & digital transformation, data analytics, marketing, the basics of accounting, human resource management, management control, finance, and much more.

The program includes 24 on-campus sessions and 1 weeks online. Please also plan extra time for 7 projects, to be completed as part of selected modules, reviews and your final paper and exam.

  • Reviews: written exams
  • Project Work: serves the transfer of learning & implementation into the professional practice and deals with approaches to solutions.
  • Final Thesis: deals with operational problems and approaches to solutions.
