Innovation Management

Competitive advantages through strategy, creativity and sustainability

Globalization, increasing market saturation, shortened innovation cycles, and new customer needs and requirements present large and, especially, small and medium-sized businesses with serious challenges. A new strategy and an appropriate set of tools driven by a consistent focus on innovation are required to be able to use the current dynamics for creating a competitive advantage for your company.

In close cooperation with the business world, MCI has created an international high-quality training program. This is primarily to provide the decision makers in SMEs with a practical guide on how to meet the specific challenges their businesses are faced with.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to

  • recognize new trends and technologies early and estimate their significance for your company,
  • manage innovation processes from the conception to the implementation using a methodological set of tools,
  • actively use the newly acquired know-how as well as fast approaching social, technological, and mainly economic change as a leader and strategically develop the portfolio of your company and its innovation culture further.

The part-time Certificate in Innovation Management program is a unique opportunity for executives and up and coming executives of any management level to obtain further training. The program is particularly appropriate for managers who

  • work in a company or another corporate organization, or are active in public administration,
  • provide entrepreneurial services,
  • have leadership experience or wish to take a leading position in the near future,
  • aim to become more professional in performing their current tasks or qualify for higher responsibilities.

The certificate program is designed, in particular, for individuals familiar with, or preparing for, tasks in research and development, technology management, risk management and risk impact assessment, product development, product management, business formation, and general management.
