Angela is a Teaching and Research Assistant in MCI. After completing pre-university education in Biomedical Sciences, Angela went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology and English Language before joining the workforce as an educator. Before joining MCI, she built a 10-year career on teaching in the public sector and in the Edu-tainment industry for the private sector to advocate interdisciplinary appreciation for arts and science, and environmental conservation as a programme and outreach manager. Subsequently, Angela developed research interest in Health Economics and/or Public Health through her pursuit of higher education in European Master in Health Economics and Management (Eu-HEM). Her primary research and subject interest lies in value assessment frameworks, health policy-making, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and decision-modelling. As a coordinator of the Master in International Health and Social Management (IHSM) offered by the department, Nonprofit, Social and Health Management, she endeavours to continue upholding the rigour, quality and relevance of the study programme to ensure that prospective graduates will be appropriately and professionally prepared to embark on meaningful career aspirations in the health and social sectors, through both research and teaching activities.
