Supporting Entrepreneurship, Society & Governance

Promoting Entrepreneurship, Society and Good Governance is a joint mission of the South African Entrepreneur and Statesman Herman Mashaba and MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® in Innsbruck, Austria.

This scholarship under the patronage of Herman Mashaba supports students from South Africa engaged in activities related to this rewarding mission to personally and professionally develop by studying at the prestigious MCI.

This scholarship allows you to study at a reduced tuition fee of EUR 1,500.- per year. It is applicable for the first year of the respective master's program and can be extended to further years depending on academic performance (grades, engagement…).

The outstanding tuition fee as well as the scholarship terms and conditions for the Executive master's program may vary.

Application Requirements for Scholarship

  • Confirmation of your application to the MCI study program

  • A motivation letter describing the applicant’s engagement in activities related to Entrepreneurship, Society and Good Governance, future goals and explaining how their studies at the MCI will help them achieve these aims. The motivation letter should also explain how applicants would benefit from the awarded scholarship (financial aspects).

  • CV

  • Copy of degree certificate(s)

  • Language proficiency

  • Passport copy and details on South-African background

  • Current (or past) academic performance and activities related to Entrepreneurship, Society & Good Governance

  • Future goals

  • Feasibility of the defined goals

  • Congruence of your goals and selected MCI degree program

  • Potential impact of your goals
