Requirements for Students

At MCI | The Entrepreneurial University®, we are deeply committed to ensuring that your degree program is practice-oriented, supported by digital technology and reliable. Students require their own suitable device for lectures, self-study, digital services and online exams.

The minimum entry requirements vary depending on the degree program. In the expandable sections below, you will find full details of the program-specific requirements for Management & Society and Technology & Life Sciences.

Tablets and smartphones, including iPads, do not meet the minimum requirements to be used as the sole device for studying at MCI.

Degree programs in Management & Society

Device:

Degree programs in Technology & Life Sciences

Students on engineering degree programmes are provided with relevant software packages free of charge for use on their personal devices. To ensure you can work effectively, we recommend a laptop that meets at least the following system requirements:

Please note that only native Windows machines are supported – other operating systems (e.g. macOS, Linux, virtual Windows running on macOS) may cause significant problems. The system requirements listed here are basic recommendations – depending on your specific interests and specialisations, the hardware requirements may change during the course of your studies (e.g. depending on the focus of your final dissertation).
