Recommendation for Students in Technical Programs

MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® is committed to making your education as practice-oriented as possible. In addition to cooperating with external teaching staff from the industry and state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, this also includes access to industry-relevant software packages. Software packages are considered as tools, which students get to know in the context of courses, in order to build up and expand the confident and effective handling in further self-study.

For this purpose, relevant software packages are made available to students in technical programs free of charge for use on private devices. In order to be able to work effectively, a laptop with the system requirements listed in Table 1 is recommended. Please note that only native Windows machines are supported – other operating systems (e.g., macOS, Linux, virtual Windows under macOS) can lead to significant problems. The listed system requirements are a basic recommendation – depending on specific interests and specializations, the hardware requirements may change during the course of studies (e.g., due to the focus of the final thesis).
