In the context of the recently held "SAP Academic Conference EMEA" at the TU Munich, the Entrepreneurial School® MCI was awarded as SAP Next-Gen Chapter and included in the SAP Next-Gen Chapter.

Next-Gen Chapters are centers of excellence at universities and colleges that aim to communicate digital application knowledge to graduates as future potential professionals and executives in collaboration with the global software company SAP. In particular, this involves special expertise in areas such as Internet of Things, Design Thinking or SAP product expertise.

Equipped with state-of-the-art SAP technologies, the MCI, with its relevant study and continuing education programs, will collaborate closely with nearly 1,900 educational institutions in the global SAP Next-Gen program network, and with nearly 3,700 educational institutions worldwide.

Furthermore, intensified cooperation with companies should also familiarize students with the digital challenges of the economy as early as possible and thus counteract the lack of digital experts.

Peter J. Mirski, Head of the relevant MCI courses in Management, Communication & IT and Digital Business & Software Engineering, explains: "As part of the SAP Next-Gen Chapter, our students acquire valuable and forward-looking user knowledge. During their studies, they gain hands-on experience in practical projects, which they can then implement directly into their professional environment after completing their studies."

MCI Rector Andreas Altmann adds: "Thanks to our collaboration with SAP, our students have the most up-to-date digital resources at their disposal. Global networking with the best colleges and universities forms another asset. The fact that the MCI was selected as SAP competence center fills us with pride and joy."
