Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG is presenting the "Raiffeisen Award for Students" for the eigth time to support students during their semesters abroad. The shared appreciation of international experience and global networks serves as the basis for the award. Raiffeisen sees this as a great added value for Tyrol as a business location, but also for the personal development of future managers.

This year's awards go to:

Florian Bigelmaier, Master Management, Communication & IT

Florian Bigelmaier is spending his semester abroad at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. The focus on master degree programs at the partner university and Bangalore's high-tech industry particularly appealed to him in his choice. The intercultural exchange of knowledge also plays an equally important role for him as the opportunity to gain a completely new approach to business through the Indian perspective.

Elena Preymann, Master International Business & Law

Elena Preymann is part of a double degree program at MCI and the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan, where she has already completed one semester. Having had no previous contact with the Asian region, her curiosity and interest in Asian cultures were key factors in her choice. With its highly developed technologies and hospitable locals, Taiwan additionally attracted her interest. Due to its proximity to China, she also sees exciting opportunities to immerse herself in the professional world of one of the largest international markets.
