For the 18th time, renowned guests from business, society and technology met at the South Tyrolean Business Forum. More than 400 visitors attended the event in the sold-out MEC congress center in Bolzano to take part in first-class presentations, stimulating exchanges of ideas and valuable networking on the topic of "Competing location - Technology. Innovation. Entrepreneurship. Values." Moreover, the Start-Up Arena with selected newcomers from the region allowed for valuable networking and partnerships.
After the managing director and general manager of the Südtiroler Sparkasse Nicola Calabrò officially opened the event at the podium, Christian Pfeifer, editor-in-chief of the Südtiroler Wirtschaftszeitung, led through an entertaining afternoon. The organizers were pleased to host top-class international speakers for this year's event:
The speakers agree that the importance of location is crucial for innovation and digitization. "In any case, it is helpful to be located where you can find talents, capital and investments to build up a business," emphasizes tech entrepreneur Jürgen Galler, who discussed digital business models in his presentation.
Afterwards, a casual get-together invited guests to network with clients, partners and friends while enjoying South Tyrolean specialties. "What a fantastic atmosphere, spirit, and fireworks of impulses, inspirations, reflections, ideas, conversations and contacts, accompanied by delicacies as you only find them in South Tyrol. The South Tyrolean Economic Forum has been a great success once again this year," says MCI Rector Andreas Altmann.
